Bryan Garnier & Co (European Offices)

Any view on Bryan Garnier & Co? Was recently announced that they have been acquired by Stifel and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the firm?

Thinking of moving over from the buyside (S&T Background, never did an IB stint) with the aim of becoming a long-term banker. Don't care about exit opps but rather lateral opps to high paying MM (e.g. FTP, HL, Baird) and possibly EBs (which will probs mean first a more decent MM firm)
