Business Analyst to IB

I’m currently a student at a T20 school studying Mathematics, and I’ve interned at Capital One as a Business Analyst. While the pay is great, I’m looking to transition into a more finance-focused role, such as Investment Banking or Trading.

Would this level of previous experience and company be sufficient? Has anyone here made a similar transition? If so, I would love to hear any tips or advice you have. Are there specific companies or strategies that might make this transition more feasible?
