I currently work at a lower middle market boutique, and am curious about how you conversate with PE guys about current deals/pipeline. We are just getting started on a deal, and I know the guy I am speaking with will be interested in learning more about it. I have known him for a few years, but we aren't bros. If they pressure you to disclose the name in the conversation, how do you respond?
I typically just verbally give a little teaser, and let them know I will shoot them the official docs when we get to that stage.
