Buy side corporate to IB?

Currently work at a renewable platform as an investment position. The platform is under a tier-1 Infra PE fund, and basically the works pretty much are modeling, executing project financing (end to end - DD, facility agreement nego with banks, documentation) and originating projects (both self-development, M&A projects) and present projects to IC.

Starting this position after grad school so no IB background. Recently am approached by some headhunters for IB (Australia bank) P&I principal investment group.

I’m sometimes struggling between the bank’s prestige and exposure I have so far. I’ve been learning a lot and gain exposure that I did not expect as a junior could be (present my model in front of partners at PE, provide inputs to banks MD and counsels). Staying here may limit my career path as this is very niche and only look at renewables and maybe next stop will be corporate as well if I stay for another one or two years.

It’s also unlikely that get promoted from the platform to the fund level. I’ve been thinking if starting from IB may have more exits?
