Buyer calls an an analyst?
Do you make buyer calls as an analyst? And if so, how do you go about them? I’m not a super nervous person (most of the time) but calling up CFOs at a strategic offering some stupid company I have in market is nerve racking.
Unlikely, unless you're working at a no-name boutique type of shop.
Definitely not at any reputable BB/EB/MM. You'll email the junior team members for data, models, etc but no cold calling CFOs lmao. And even then the MDs have long term relationships with the buyers and know what they're looking for, it's not a cold call
