I've finished an off-cycle IB internship in a coverage group and will be starting in the summer as a full-time analyst. Am I allowed to invest in stocks related to my coverage group before starting FT without reporting anything or asking for any approval? Of course I'll avoid buying shares of companies with whom we had live deals running when my internship ended.
