Cambridge Mphil in Finance & Economics - Industry Recognition?

Hi everyone,

I've recently been accepted into the MPhil in Finance & Economics at the University of Cambridge, which I'm incredibly excited about. That said, I was hoping to get some insight into how this particular programme is viewed by BB/EB firms in London.

I’m aware that Cambridge also offers a separate MPhil in Finance through Judge Business School, which seems to have excellent placement outcomes. However, that program is typically geared towards candidates with prior work experience. Given that, I’m unsure whether I should expect a similar level of placement success from the Mphil in F&E programme.

Of course, it's Cambridge — and who am I to judge the strength of the brand. Still, what prompted my question is the lack of publicly available career outcomes data for the F&E program, and relatively few LinkedIn profiles to benchmark against.

Any insights from those familiar with the programme or the recruiting landscape would be greatly appreciated!
