Can an awful HireVue blacklist you from the company?

To be clear I seriously doubt I was blacklisted, but I want to know what the worst possible case is. I applied for a 3-day "insight forum" at Bank of America which required a first-round hirevue interview. Literally the worst interview of my life...I started it 20 minutes before it was due and did not have time to vet or redo my answers. I smirked a lot and my tone was way more casual than it should have been. The last question (tell us about a problem you solved) was especially bad, I smirked in the end and said "but I've solved plenty of other problems, no big deal", I just came off as a douche. If we assume the worst case scenario of my interview inspiring hatred in the guy/team watching it, is it possible to get blacklisted for that role (not a problem since I doubt I'll ever apply for insight forum again), that location, or even the company?

Lol yeah my title was overkill but like I said at the beginning of my post I don’t actually expect to be blacklisted. But I seemed so douchey and unprofessional during the hirevue that I’m wondering if it will have any effect on future applications to Bank of America because I definitely didn’t take this one seriously.

This may impact your chances at other internships within BAML. When I was recruiting at Goldman I was confused because I thought I was doing a Hirevue for IBD, but got a question referencing their wealth management division. I asked a recruiter afterwards and they said that since I had applied for IBD and wealth management positions, they only accepted one Hirevue that they used for both applications. I have no idea if this is the case for BAML, however. Regardless, its only one firm and even if you get dinged its not the end of the world -- there are a million firms/positions out there. Keep working.

This is true and good to keep in mind if you apply to multiple divisions

However for the poster this was just an insight day hirevue and it won't matter. They will not consider it for future applications, just be grateful your hirevue practice was before a real application.
