My MD (and industry lead) blocked my move to another desk. Not only that, but he went to his boss who personally told the other MD I spoke with, to not hire analysts from my class. It's a little awkward because we're on the same floor.
I've been at the BB for a year (Banking, not S&T). General bank policy would allow for the move. Have you guys ever heard of this? He told me that I have a three year commitment (that I was never informed of).
