Can I apply to multiple divisions at the same bank? SW 2025
I’m a 1st Year applying to SWs in London at a semi target. I just applied to a Spring Insight program in Investment Banking at Citi. I also noticed that there were a bunch of other ones in Markets, Corporate Banking etc which also seemed interesting. Obviously my chances are quite slim for the IB SW but I’d imagine the other divisions are slightly less competitive. Was wondering if I’d be able to apply to those other divisions as well or would my applications get dinged. Another slight question I had was is applying to other divisions, but still somewhat close to IB, a smart idea as someone from a semi target with not a load of experience?
Go for it - it’s good for yourself to figure out what you like, just be careful with banks that don’t allow you to apply to more than one stream. Good luck with your applications!
