Can I name target name on resume for failed bid

Hi so I was on a buy side advisory role, my client (Buyer 1) was bidding for a company (Target). The bid was unsuccessful and the Target was acquired by another group (Buyer 2) and the deal was closed and made public.

Now I don't think I could name my client (Buyer) as my client never annouced it was bidding. Although there were rumor. Now my question is can I name the Target since it was announced?

But no body know my firm advised on this deal.

"But no body know my firm advised on this deal."

That would make listing the target disclosing non-public information. Furthermore, no one is going to see the target (I assume it's a F500 or well-known company) and hire you for that. It's the specific deal experience (e.g. you putting together a complex model for this deal) that will get you hired.
