Sorry can't help but I did want to ask the folks here: Is 2.5h usual for a case study like this? Recruiting for Infra PE/Project Finance roles now and some of the model tests I've gotten are in the same range of complexity including debt sculpting, but linked 3-statement models were mandatory and I was given anywhere from 60-90 minutes to do the whole thing. Ngl I've already been dropped from 1 process cos I didn't finish all 3 statements in the time allocated, so not sure if they were just particularly demanding or if I should have just prepped better.

This is a pretty simple case, surprised they’d give you that much time. Fully contracted revenue means you don’t have to build in a merchant toggle (though you should if you have an extra few min). Single asset so don’t have to worry about corp expenses, no tax equity scheme, straight line depreciation, no floating interest rates, etc. Balance sheet is marginally tricky since you’ll have to make some working cap assumptions but shouldn’t be bad - unless I’m missing something I don’t think you’ll have receivables since it’s a PPA and you can assume its paid month end, can assume some % of your O&M and interest for payables and small inventory for items used in maintenance capex rest is fixed assets and debt I think.
