Canada A2A Promotion Bonuses?
Question is in the title really - do banks in Canada pay a bonus when you go Analyst to Associate? Big 5s and Bulge Brackets, any difference? I'm at a BB in Canada and curious.

I’ve heard big 5 are 10-20K + a week of vacation, and B of A is materially higher
how much is bofa? Very keen to know.
got 5K for corporate banking analyst to associate at a big 5. Heard the IB side is double that, so 10k but can't confirm.
Was an A2A promo last year at a Big 5 and got C$10K (clawback if you leave within a year). Have heard some of the BBs pay up to C$50K for the A2A promo.
Interesting, thanks for the info. Any idea what Barclays/CS/UBS would pay? Generally seems less than BAML/JPM but more than Big 5.
Not sure why they even do that - a lot more people stay A2A in Canada than in the US and there are more exits to PE from associate level as well (Canada relative to US)
