Ah good point - based in Canada (hence the lower base, higher bonus). New base will be 150k. Also know a mid bucket VP 1 this year had $150k base and just under $250k bonus.
Since you're quite senior and based in Canada, I was wondering if I could ask you a quick question - how does comp for ECM/DCM bankers differ in Toronto compared to M&A?
Same base, 15-20% discount on bonus. M&A pays same as coverage, btw, until the MD level where they generally make more in coverage.
