Canadian MM IB or CF/Valuation at Big 4

What's up fellow apes. Currently at the end of first of my first at a canadian non-target university and I was wondering what to aim for. IB at RBC is pretty out of reach since there is no alumni working there and TD is going to be really difficult to get into. This leaves me with the rest of the big5 and BNC. The other option is to major in accounting and get into a big4, lateral to the CF/valuation/M&A team. What do you guys think is the best overall? Or if I want get into a top MBA after?

Even though I ultimately want to do finance, I know a couple successful people in finance who went through accounting and really wouldn't mind doing the same.

Thanks in advance!
