I'll preface this post with the acknowledgement that *tech IB* and *Canada* are rarely put in a sentence together unless caveated with "non-existent". That said, there has been a bit of tech buzz in Toronto lately with Microsoft, Google and IBM opening up HQ in the city. So I was wondering, is there such a thing as tech IB groups in Toronto? If so, which of the 5 banks are strongest? Are there any boutiques playing in the space?

Not a lot of major M&A activity in this space but if there is it's typically handled by the NY/SF offices of the Big 5/BB. Heard BMO has a dedicated tech group but they really don't do much. Curious to hear about other shops as well (TD, RBC, Barclays, GS, MS, etc.)
