Capital Markets and Corporate Finance Banking
Hello everyone,
I am new to this site and I am a college student still exploring and learning about the financial industry. Please pardon me for the following general naive question.
Can anyone here clarify for me the precise difference between capital markets investment banking and corporate finance investment banking? Is the former primarily associated with secondary markets whereas the latter does the IPOs?
I would greatly appreciate feedback from practitioners in these fields. Thank you very much.
