Capital Markets going in everyday.. (lean team)

Asking all ECM folks (incl. DCM and other cap markets team) with lean team structures whether they are going into office everyday...

My team is very lean (one Director, one MD) and now they expect me to come to work everyday when firm-wide hybrid seems to be the norm across coverage/product, and other middle/back functions.

Heard lean team has its benefits but I am so stressed right now (very demanding MD with no training, absence of VP/Associate etc) and didn't know if this was the norm in other cap markets teams as well.

Different everyday to be honest. Sometimes I get out at 9pm from office, but work till 11-12 at home just because my MD expects me to technically be "available" and gives me adhoc tasks. I feel like I constantly average about 80~85 hours per week with weekend work on a frequent basis. I don't know if this is because I'm the only analyst on the team, but really taking a toll on me.
