Capital Markets / Treasury Services
Can anyone comment on what exactly an analyst would do in either of these segments of a BB? Comp? Exit Opps?
Also, if anyone has an idea of what an interview would be like, please let me know. Thanks

Correct me if im wrong, from my understanding, these two are very different segments. CM is under IB and pays like IB. Treasury Services is mostly mid/back office.
It depends how the bank titles the groups. Treasury could be a part of the banks asset/liability management group which in some banks falls under capital markets. Primary responsibility is managing the banks balance sheet, so this could entail bank investments, managing the capital structure, and also coordinating with other banks for overnight/short term funding.
what are the prospects of lateralling from a Capital Markets Origination desk into IB? Transferable?
Treasury Services is typically payment solutions and cash management for firm clients. Capital Markets is capital markets.
