Career Advice: US School -> UK Banking
Hi everyone,
I'm a current sophomore at a semi-target/target in the US interested in pursuing a career in investment banking - in the UK.
I understand the recruitment process is different in the UK/EU than the US for banking (spring break programs, etc.) so I was wondering - if I'm interested in starting a financial career abroad - how should I start preparing myself?
Should I ask US recruiters about foreign placement for internships or try and work myself into a sizable firm's office (internship -> full-time) then attempt to transfer to a foreign location?
If anyone has any experience in this or recommendations, please let me know.
Thank you all very much.
