Career troubles

I was a SA at an ok bank in 2018 in London. Converted this into a full time offer for the year after, but this bank made about 20% of analysts redundant in December 2019, six months after starting, and I was part of it. I've been working at a fairly low-grade M&A place since January this year since I just needed a job fast, but I'm really struggling with a way to get back in. I have a high 2:1 from Oxbridge with a non-econ/finance undergrad and some language skills. I guess there are a couple of ways forward but it's hard seeing which is best :

- 2021 Finance Masters and apply for SA positions now - I've saved enough to fund it, but I guess I might be too experienced for SA positions and I don't really know if I'd be eligible with not being in uni / being FT now

- Experienced hires - I think I've applied for 100+ positions in the past two months with 0 success, not even one interview

If anyone can offer any advice I'd be insanely grateful because I really don't know what to do and it's been weighing on me for a while
