Carried Interest vs Shares or Warrants

Hello,

I was looking at a couple roles where one offers carried interest and the other offers warrants. From people who have worked in these models can You run through the main differences. Also is it more common in a pe fund as opposed to an investment bank to use carried interest instead of equity? Thanks.
