CBS vs. Booth vs. LBS for IBD in London?

Hi, I want to work in London after MBA. Which school should I choose? CBS, Booth or LBS?

Are US MBA programs well known in the UK?

Why would you study in the US if you want to work in London? I'm sure it's possible but you'll just be making life much harder for yourself....just go to LBS and you'll already be in London for recruiting which will make it so much easier.

Well, because after 3-4 years, when I return back to my home country, US schools will have much higher recognition.

Work for a firm with strong brand recognition in the States. Problem solved.

Yeah, as above. Go to LBS (which I'm sure is recognised where you're from, especially if that's in Asia where I believe it is well-regarded - even if not as much as US schools) and then work for an American bank if you want to.

Talk to people at these schools who did IB recruiting. I know people at a couple M7's who did IBD in London recently, and while I can't speak to how hard it actually is to get there it doesn't seem that difficult vs. US.
