Pay’s probably higher at Centerview, it’s known to be on the higher end even for EBs. Probably has better “culture” too, although it’s different depending in how you define it. If you are thinking more about a career in banking and can commit to 3 years, CVP, almost 100% are known to exit after 2 years at GS.
Normally would say Centerview but I would go GS (I’m an alum) honestly because markets are going to suck for the next decade (read fed research on pandemics ) so you have much more flexibility to navigate prolonged recession
