CEO sent me an article

I'm meeting the CEO of a small firm in a couple days and he included me in an email he sent to people that work in the firm. The article pertained to their line of work. Should I send a thank you email for including me and something brief about the article or just wait til I meet him? What do you guys that work usually do when your boss sends you an article?

Thanks

Don't respond just casually mention how it was an interesting read when you meet with him and have something to say in case he asks what you liked about it.

95% of the articles that get sent to me are deleted. Those that are read meet three criteria: 1) I have time to read it, 2) they are from a legitimate source and not AOL finance or some bullshit, 3) they are relevant/interesting to me/my work. That being said you don't have a job there yet and probably don't have that much going on so you can take 10 minutes to read the article. But once you start working expect to consistently fall back on the response of "I didn't have time (aka was too busy making money for this company)" OR "I haven't gotten to it yet, but it looks interesting" (if it's your direct boss).
