1- I’m majoring in finance.

2- I'm planning to spend the entire winter break studying for that exam (Level1).

3- The materials that I have so far are three practice exams.

Everyone learns differently, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

(1) If you're a finance major, I would advise diving heavily into practice questions. cfainstitute gives you about 2,000; on top of that, I would highly encourage schwieser notes. They have condensed content for those who have a strong background in the subject matter and then use the CFA text for areas you are weaker in.

(2) 300hours has a great guide in the ideal order you can study in - (https://www.300hours.com/articles/what-is-the-most-effective-level-i-cf…) - I would advise this order; I was using it myself.

(3) With regard to your duration, I know friends who spent two weeks studying and others that spent 3 months. I don't know what's ideal for you, bur I would advise you put in the hours at the rate that works best for you.

(4) On a final note, June 2020 and December 2020 were cancelled due to COVID, with the situation getting worse, mentally prepare yourself to study, but with the chance that you may not write on test day.

I have three practice exams so far. I’ll start practicing right after I finish my finals. What should I do if I did bad on the practice exams?

See if you can get access to QBank from Schweser (is that still a thing?). Then keep taking practice exams until you don't do badly on them...
