Chances of a move?

I am currently working in retail private client at a top 3 firm. I would like to make the switch to IB and get a 2 year analyst gig and head to b-school. (25 years old, strong academic resume) I am in Atlanta and would like to stay in Atlanta for the next few years.

What are my chances of getting an analyst role? Any boutique firms come to mind that may fit?

You are only interested in boutiques? How about the regional offices of BBs? I know UBS and Raymond James have offices there and I am positive that many of the BB's also have offices there. Why not look into that?

Or you could just go down to bankhead and stand on the corner, running drugs.

I am open to getting to most any firm...

I was just thinking that a boutique may be able to think and hire a little outside of the box...
