So I am currently a freshman at Iowa State majoring in finance, and was just wondering how hard for someone like myself at a non target like Iowa State to get into Ibanking. In order to do so what gpa and ecs should i be aiming for. Thanks for any help yall could provide.

Get a 4.0 (or as close to it as possible), get involved in finance and non-finance related things on campus, master the technical concepts of IB (accounting, modeling, M&A, etc.), nail down your interesting yet concise story about yourself and why you should be in banking, be personable and able to hold a conversation, and network like hell
