Chatgpt
Hi,
My firm has given me access to chatgpt for a pilot test in the firm. Anyone has used it for banking? What should I use it for any good training to use it?
Thanks

Look through the threads on WSO and reddit. some are using it for summary slides, some for base level research if you fact check data afterwards. Assuming you have the paid/corporate version.
It can be very useful for executive summary / high level slides. It basically aggregates all information about a topic into one place for you, and you can massage the message from there.
However, you still need to vet/check the information, especially for asks that are more specific. I’ve come across numerous instances of incorrect and/or incomplete information.
That being said, it’s a huge net positive. Just don’t assume you can type a question and regurgitate whatever you get back onto the slide.
Cuts down my reading and writing time significantly. Reading - Summarize earnings transcripts, research reports etc. Writing - write out investment highlights, key points on info, that sort of thing.
Very very useful tool and I haven't even explored what else it can do.
How are you incorporating this given its info is stale (Sept 2021)?
I paste in the info myself e.g., text of call transcripts and ask for a summary rather than asking it to pull from the Internet. Requires a bit of checking but generally pretty damn good.
Will also add that I only plug in public info. Am very VERY careful not to put in anything non-public in anticipation of the eventual compliance crackdown. My compliance dude is kind of a dinosaur and won't really get it.
Ha, ask it to generate an image of a dick lmaorofl
Thanks for this. What the kind of prompt that you use for market research , kih, etc.?
Can help for creating buyer lists as well
