Chill BB - Shirt with Pocket
Is it okay to wear one with a pocket? Some say its more formal but I don't think I've seen as many people wearing one.

That’s more of a UK thing, from what I’ve been told. Without a pocket is fine/better, but only assholes will punish you for having a pocket.
Honestly I would've said a shirt with a pocket is more informal. Never seen a formal shirt with a pocket, only casual shirts.
You can wear one if you want but also why would you really want to.
The only reason is because Lulu makes a dress shirt with a pocket that is so comfortable I've taken naps in it after work.
Don’t do it – I know someone who got fired for wearing a shirt with a pocket.
I don't wear any but I don't think there's any problem with them either. Probably a matter of preference

Assuming we're talking about a breast pocket, that's completely fine. I didn't think wearing one would cause any grief to begin with.
Coming from Europe here :
- Americans are very casual and dont know how to dress usually, so I would assume a shirt w a pocket is fine in the US
- However, in Europe / more formal settings, it would not be seen as approriate with a classical suit.
Can you be fired for it? Probably only if the boss of your team is a fashion nazi.
