CHOOSING BETWEEN QUANTS / IB / ASSET MANAGEMENT

Dear WSO members,

Please help me choose amongst IB/ QUANTS/ ASSET MANAGEMENT

My present qualifications are :

1)Bachelors of Science in Statistics ( Major : Statistics ; Minors : Mathematics and Computer Science).  2)Masters of Science in Data Science. 3)Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) .

What would be the right choice for me based on my qualifications and the average compensation?

Yup, if you know you know

I came from the actuarial world as well. I now work in research for a BB. Based on your qualifications, and the structure/tone of your post, I can virtually promise you that you don't want to work in IB. Even if you did, you'd have a very hard time convincing one to take you. What you know how to do just flat out is not useful in IB. Quant could be a better fit. Asset management would be a tough sell without some solid securities experience. Good luck!
