Is it fine to ask for a week of christmas off if I just started at the bank a 2-3 months before?

It really depends on the status of your live deals...if they're all 12/31 closes then its extremely unlikely, if they're March-April closes then you should be able to take more time off. A whole week is extremely aggressive regardless when you're at an analyst level
