CIBC/TD vs Solomon Partners

I'm currently working at a CIBC/TD equivalent bank. I like my group and team and we have good hours, but feel that the pay and progression might not be there, currently in corporate banking about to finish my 2nd year. I've recently received an offer to join Solomon Partners for IB but would have to start as an An1. Would it be worth making the switch?

Take Solomon. Good group and team. Even if you have to be an Analyst 1 again, it’ll be worth it for both the pay, experience and exit opportunities versus if you were stuck in corporate banking.

They work on interesting deals depending on which group you’re in as well
