Citi accelerated promotions for analysts (2015)

Could someone confirm this, and whether the pay hike is just for Investment Banking or is it also for Capital Markets Origination (CMO which covers ECM/DCM/LevFin) and S&T?

Just to clarify - is it 2.5 years or 2 years? Dealbreaker says: "Analyst program cut to 2.5 years with accelerated promotions direct to associate after 2 years". So does that imply if you're a top performer you get promoted to associate in June or in January?
Its 2.5 years. Example: if you start in summer 2015, then you are up for promotion in Jan 2018 rather than June 2018.
I saw that a while back but thought I read it wrong - any reactions from other banks?
