Citi IBD results - Fraser delivering

Investment banking fees +13%
Market fees +16%
Wealth +20%
And most important ROTE on track to deliver 10% within next 1-3 years

Dimon owns the spotlight, but Fraser’s pulling off the hard pivot. Thoughts?

Lol at anyone who thinks titles are legit in this site, not an intern. But should’ve specified in my initial comment I was referring to IB only lmao

  • Markets is a non-story. Most banks on the street have done well due to the tariffs, market volatility, etc
  • Jane Fraser has made it a point to grow in wealth management. Lots of folks (including Citi employees) thought this was dumb but it seems to be paying off. Interested to hear others’ thoughts on this
  • Citi has been on a tear in IB and that’s largely Vis’ doing. One of the big winners this year in terms of gaining share
