Citi Industrials or Real Estate?
I have to select between these two groups, and was wondering what your guys' opinion is on which to join? Which group is more well known on the street, and which one has the better exit opportunities?
Also, if I start my analyst career in real estate, will that limit to always working in the real estate sector? Or would it be easy to make a switch later into a non-real estate private equity firm after two years?
If you want to work in real estate the rest of your life, real estate is the way to go - great rep and great experience. Industrials will be more widely applicable and will be a better lifestyle. Citi Real Estate is a total meat grinder.
I see. I heard that Industrials is also one of those groups that works you to the bone. Is there a difference between its hours and Citi RE?
