Citi Internship contract

Hi everyone,

I got an summer analyst internship offer from Citi two weeks ago, HR said her colleague would contact with me about contract later. It has been two weeks. I mean how long should i wait for normally ? I ask HR, she said she would in contact once the contract is processed. My friend got an internship from Deloitte, she received contract quite quickly.

This position is about operation. And is it possible to get a full-time offer after internship ? during the interview, they asked me whether i would continue to work in Citi after internship. is it a clue ?

Many thanks !!

I can't answer how long you should wait for the contract, not knowledgeable enough about that, but I can answer your other question. Yes, internships are generally designed to give out full time offers to people at the end of the summer. It's not guaranteed, so do well, work hard, and get along with your team members, and you'll probably get one. The % of people who get offers varies by group/bank/year, so I don't know what the Citi operations % looks like.

Seriously, HR is the most annoying shit in the world, especially when they take f***ing forever to even let you know that you got in.

Hi Bermy,

Will Citi send out all internship contract together after all interns' position are filled ? It is less than a month to start the internship. Many thanks

It was London that just held the the meet and greet.

Dublin is still doing their interviews for positions in Operations, Treasury & Trade Solutions, and Technology too. Applications are even still open for Ops + Tech. Torrance I'm not sure what country you're in, but I know several people who have very recently received offers from Citi Dublin and they were all told about 2-3 week wait for contract to be processed.
