Citi - Int'l student got offer but contract says "unrestricted authorization needed"

So i got an offer for Citi SA 2019 last September for the NYC office. I'm an int'l student studying in the US, and clicked the "will need sponsorship in the future" button on the application back when I applied. However when I got the contract it states that I "must have unrestricted authorization now or in the future", which I do not have as a international student. I contacted an associate (alum) who recruited me - he said he spoke to HR and that it will not be an issue.

Fast forward to March 2019, I'm starting to think about that again and realized I probably should have gotten that written in contract rather than just a confirmation over text. I'm worried that HR might just pull the offer right before a start or will not consider me for a return offer.

Any other international students working at Citi this summer? Any of you have the same line in the contract? Not sure if I should talk to HR about this to make sure everything is fine or if I should just do nothing.

This is pretty urgent as I am about to pay for summer housing and don't want to pay for it if my offer gets pulled. Thanks.
