Citi pay

An1 Mid bucket Citi this year was 60k bonus on 110 base. Top bucket was 80-90k. Bottom bucket was 40-50k. They paid great this year.

So it seems like the highest paying BBs this year are Citi, GS, and CS, and the lowest paying are Barclays, MS, and JPM. Not sure about UBS and DB.

I agree they rank high on the league tables, but I feel like I see them on less high-profile deals? Might just be me though.

I would also say that I think Barc has better exits (there was some post aggregating the MF exits across BBs) bc of the in-house M&A in the coverage groups. Again just a personal anecdote, but I don’t think I met a single Citi kid at my MF interviews and there were several CS/Barc.
