Short term working capital solutions, FX solutions, cash management, etc. Otherwise known as "transaction banking". Function of corporate banking (not commercial) as is geared towards large MNC. Exit opps is the wrong question (i know this is a buzzword thrown around on here but pls ignore), you need to think if you would enjoy this or not. It's a different area of banking and many people just stay there their entire careers. Although I suppose Corporate Treasury etc could be something you can go to, hedging etc., but a corporate banking background makes more sense.

Thanks a million for your in depth answer, much appreciated! - I suppose then it leads to my next question which is would you recommend transaction banking as starting point out of college or do you think it can "pigeon hole" you so to speak as you mentioned many people stay in this area - what if you were to realise it actually isn't for you? Thanks
