Citi’s Leveraged Portfolio Group Analyst Position

Curious if anyone here knows more about Citi's Leveraged Portfolio Group (LPG). I read another thread on here about the group but that one seems a bit stale as it's from 1.5 years ago. Seems like a relatively new group that was formed at Citi and the the group covers credit underwriting for High Yield clients. Definitely would like to see if anyone has more insight into the group and what Analyst roles / responsibilities look like, salary, and interview process as well. Any insight into this role would be extremely helpful.

Worked at Citi till 2020. As far as I know, LPG is a Corporate Banking team, taking care of highly levered companies - mostly PE portfolio firms and a few others. They serve exactly like the vanilla CB team at citi but for these clients. There should be a lot of info on Citi's CB on this site.

In Citi, CB and IB are under the same umbrella, so the base salary is the same across both teams and you'll also be working together a lot. Bonus is c. 20-40% of base.

About the hours, it is better than IB. Very less weekend work and you work fewer 12 am + nights on weekdays.
