Can anyone provide any detail on Citizens FIG Atlanta? Is this mostly a capital markets team or do they execute m&a? Which verticals are covered out of Atlanta?

Yeah I was curious as well idk how well they compete in the FIG space tbh. Any other details on the team and the sub verticals they cover?
Bump. Any updates on the team? I see they’re hiring at the associate level.
Not in the group but worked in another coverage group there. FIG team had some great people - one of the tighter knit teams at the bank. They generate most fees from ECM and pitch like crazy; recently, they are making a push for more M&A so that’s a work-in-progress with some lower tier MDs taking on lower quality M&A mandates. Regardless, you’ll have a decent experienced and get paid extremely well for the hours FIG team will make you work. Head of FIG is also a great guy / very high up at the overall bank
Thanks for your response. Do you think this is a decent group for someone who wants to stick in banking for the medium to long term?
Also, what is your best estimate of average hours in this group? I know fig can be pretty sweaty at most banks.
