Client-Interaction for Investment Banking Analyst?
Hi, WSO monkeys. I'm currently a rising sophomore in a target. I am curious about one thing here. Should I mention in an interview/resume walkthrough that I love client interaction and this is one of the reasons that drive me to investment banking? From my previous two ib internships at some small banks, I would probably say, yes, did have a lot of interaction with our clients. But for BB and EB I have totally no idea if mentioning this could lead to a bad result cuz I'm aware that analysts don't usually have exposure to clients. I might have some stupid misunderstanding and please forgive me if anything I said is wrong. Thanks guys!
short answer: no, don't give them the impression you don't know what the job entails at the junior level.
