Co-worker questions my PTO

A much older co-worker with the same position called me into his office this afternoon to talk workload. He asked me what my friday was looking like, I told him I was taking the afternoon off because I had family in town. He proceeded to ask some very curious questions about my plans and why I wouldn't be in the office. Im actually meeting a headhunter to get out of dodge. I can't let him know Im looking because he would spread word to the partners and I would be out. Should I just ignore him because Im putting in my weeks within a month? Any thoughts?

Sounds like he already knows - maybe some connection to your recruiter? Shouldn't be grounds for your dismissal though.
