Co-worker questions my PTO
A much older co-worker with the same position called me into his office this afternoon to talk workload. He asked me what my friday was looking like, I told him I was taking the afternoon off because I had family in town. He proceeded to ask some very curious questions about my plans and why I wouldn't be in the office. Im actually meeting a headhunter to get out of dodge. I can't let him know Im looking because he would spread word to the partners and I would be out. Should I just ignore him because Im putting in my weeks within a month? Any thoughts?
Sacking someone because they applied elsewhere must be up there in the bad employers of the world list.
Ignore the gimp, he's just jealous. Haters gonna hate.
Sounds like he already knows - maybe some connection to your recruiter? Shouldn't be grounds for your dismissal though.
Coxford, we know what you've been up to. Don't think we haven't been watching.
