College Advice

Hi, I'm a high senior, and I'm dead set on EDing to Boston College. I have decided that the risk of EDing elsewhere is simply not worth it given that everybody and their mom is going for Ivies, and honestly, beyond job placement, I'm really not interested in them. I think I'd be happier at BC or a big state school like Mich or UVA or UNC (can't afford them so that's off the table). I'm mostly interested in consulting and product management, but I would like to keep IB open if I realize I do want to try to get into it. I'm a girl so I would qualify for diversity programs (I think), so I was wondering what I should know going into all of this?
