Commodities Research With Large Commodities Firm
Does anyone have the scoop on being a commodities research analyst with a large firm (think trafigura, vitol etc)?
Job involves monitoring markets, writing short summaries for internal stakeholders e.g. traders, talking with ppl in the softs/metals industry etc...
Can anyone who's got experience in this field shed some light in terms of pay, exit opps, and whether it suits a particular personality, the longevity of this field and whether it will be eventually outsourced, career stability etc?
I'm also assuming this is a FO position? yes?
