I haven’t heard anything from the firms HR since signing my SA offer letter in late November. Is this normal, or should I touch base?

It's normal, they'll prob starting sending out onboarding/background check info in February or March
Pretty much didn't hear anything from May of accepting my offer until background checks in January. Aside from that, I didn't hear anything until the following April or May.
