what's compensation during IBD training like? is it salaried or hourly? overtime pay?

Career Resources
It's salaried. Even if it's for an SA position, you'll be pro-rated a salary over your 8-10 week stent. There may be some little boutiques spread across the country that do hourly compensation for SAs, but on the whole, it'll most likely be a pro-rated salary (SAs). All full-time analysts are on salary from day 1 and there's no overtime pay in training or really ever.
I think a few BBs used to have overtime policies for some of their summer analysts back when I was interning (2006). Not sure if that's still the case.
is it the same for FT training?
Yes, you will be paid at your regular $33.65/h for the 8 hour day. Any hours in excess of that will be paid at HALF of your regular pay... i.e. $16.83/h
