Compensation in Europe

I have some questions regarding M&A compensation in London, Frankfurt and Dubai. Is it true that the Base in the UK is around 50-55k GBP? If that´s true than the NET-INCOME is roughly the same in ffm and London. However the COL in London is about ~40% higher. Meaning the compensation in frankfurt is much better, right? Why is that so? And does it get adjusted once you become more senior and/or move to pe/CD?

Also how does the salary in Dubai compare? I assume it´s the same as in London but without income tax and the COL is also about the same as in London. Does that mean that Dubai salary actually brings you the furthest? And what are the language requirements for ib in Dubai?
