Compsci master to transition into tech

Hey, so typically in the UK larger universities like UCL and Imperial or even maybe Oxbridge tend to do these compsci masters who are only available for undergraduates who didnt study compsci, math or physics. As such, its more targeted towards humanities and social sciences undegrad I was wondering if you heard of anyone who graduated from lets say an econ undergrad then took this type of master and if he or she was able to transition to tech or quant. thanks alot.
